Rainbow Calcite (also known as Aztec Calcite or Sustaining Stone) is a very calming and soothing stone, especially in emotionally distressing times. Rainbow Calcite is also very grounding, and helps eliminate negative energy. Bring in good vibes and go with the flow with Rainbow Calcite. It is a 3 on the Mohs Hardness Scale. With that rating it is a fairly soft stone. Quite often chuck will be given an acid wash to preserve the shine.
